Our Physicians
Dr. Lloyd Gelman received his M.D. from the University of Michigan, and trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan. His allergy training was at the University Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology, as well as Internal Medicine. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado, and a past president of the Colorado Allergy Society. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Gelman has been in practice in Boulder since 1970. Retired on 9/28/2011.
Dr. S. Allan Bock received his M.D. from the University of Maryland. He was trained in Pediatrics at the University of Colorado, and did an Allergy and Immunology fellowship at National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver. He is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology and in Pediatrics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Bock is on staff at National Jewish, where he does research on Food Allergy. He is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Bock has been in practice in Boulder since 1977.
Dr. Betty Petrak received her M.D. from New York Medical College. She trained in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital/Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She did a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology as well as in Internal Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She has a special interest in headache management. Dr. Petrak has been in practice in Boulder since 1999.
